Hunted game is moose, caribou, black bear and bow hunting trips are available in September. Moose Valley Outfitters is a family owned and operated outfitting business. Their lodge in the interior of Newfoundland is accessible by float plane only. The hunters’ quarters have all the modern conveniences of home, hot/cold running water, showers, flush toilets, generator electricity, and a mobile telephone, and heated by a wood stove which makes the task of drying wet clothing and boots a simple one. The guides quarters and cook house are separate from the hunter's accommodations. All packages include accommodations for seven nights, six days of hunting and all meals, ground and air transportation, and one guide per hunter.
