Albany New Hampshire

Albany is located in Carroll County on Highway 16 near the town of Conway.
Local Albany sights include: Mount Chocorua, Mount Paugus and the southeastern corner of the White Mountains National Forest. First chartered in 1766 as Burton, for General Jonathan Burton of Wilton, the town was incorporated and renamed Albany in 1833, when the New York Central railroad from New York City to Albany was chartered.

Population, Year of the First Census Taken: 170 residents in 1790.
