Brentwood New Hampshire

Brentwood is located in Rockingham County in southeastern New Hampshire on Highway 111A near Exeter. Brentwood is part of the Portsmouth-Rochester metro area. Brentwood is a small community with the Exeter River flowing through it and a twenty minute drive to the coast.

Originally known as Brentwood parish, a parish of Exeter, it was separated due to overpopulation. Incorporated in 1742, Brentwood was taken from Brentwood England, a suburb of London containing the king's forest Burnt Wood.
