The Frost Place, A Center for Poetry and the Arts, is a non-profit and educational facility located in Robert Frost's 1915 home in Franconia, Grafton County, New Hampshire. The facility includes the Robert Frost Museum and a half-mile Poetry-Nature Trail. The Frost Place also puts on programs, such as Frost Place Festival of Poetry where poets come to learn about poetry from their resident poets and other renowned poets, a Conference on Poetry and Teaching, a Young Poets Conference, Poetry Critique Service, and Frost Day. In 1976, Franconia bought the home and appointed a local Board of Trustees, who undertook to restore the buildings and grounds. The Frost Place is entered in the National Register of Historic Places, and Franconia is the only town in the U.S. with its own resident poet. CODE left
