Nestled in the hills south of the
White Mountains, the Gunstock Inn & Fitness Center was once a bed and breakfast bunkhouse built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's to house the workers for nearby
Gunstock Ski Mountain. The inn, with its commanding view of
Lake Winnipesaukee from the living room and many of the 25 guest rooms, contains timbers from various barns that were taken down throughout the state to build the bunkhouse. Furnished in antiques, it is now a full-service inn with guest rooms, private baths, air conditioning, cable tv in each room.
This four season inn also provides a 25 meter indoor swimming pool, fully equipped fitness center, sauna, Function room, Conference room, tavern and restaurant. The Function room can accommodate up to 100 guests for meetings, weddings, or other social events.Their Conference room will accommodate up to 60 guests.
The inn is conveniently located near many Lakes Region activities including skiiing, swimming, boating, canoeing and more. Families could explore the many islands of Lake Winnipesaukee on a ship from Mount Washington Cruises, take a trainride on the Winnipsesaukee Scenic Railway, or visit the carnival at Weirs Beach.
