For the past 71 years, Dover residents have been enjoying pastries, pies, breads and cakes from Harvey's Bakery. The bakery has also seen famous politicians such as John F. Kennedy who stopped by to talk with Dover residents when he was running for president. The bakery made a cake with the presidential seal especially for Kennedy. Former Vice President Al Gore, Gov. Craig Benson, and presidential candidate John Kerry have also visited the bakery.
Harvey’s specialties continue to include pork pies, maple rounds, maple squares and apple pies. They also bake personalized wedding cakes.
