Immaculate Heart of Mary Church

Prior to 1955, neighbors from the Heights area formed a petition requesting a small Catholic church or chapel built in their area. The people who lived on the Heights, East Concord, Loudon and other nearby communities were registered at St. John the Evangelist. The Rev. Richard Boner was assigned to investigate the possibilities, which led to the building of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, located in Concord, in Merrimack County.

They offer weekly activities for parents as well as for their children. They have a strong Religious Education Program for their children, who can begin attending classes in kindergarten and continue right through Confirmation. They believe that the greatest legacy they can pass on to the children of today is our Faith in Jesus Christ.

They also offer many programs for their youth, including new Youth Room where youths can play fozzball, watch a video, help someone with homework, or just “hang out.”
