Gale River Motel

The Gale River Motel and Cottages, located on six acres of land in Franconia, overlooks Mt. Lafayette, Cannon Mountain, and the Franconia Notch.

All guest rooms at the motel have a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and full baths. In addition, executive rooms include a portable phone, padded swivel rocking chairs, shower massage, and complimentary soda bar. The cottages have fully-equipped kitchens, barbecue grills and picnic tables. A hot tub and indoor Jacuzzi spa are also available.

Activities include croquet, shuffleboard, horseshoes, expansive lawns and pool deck. The Frostbite Follies Winter Carnival is a significant event in the area.
