Lakes Region General Hospital is a community and regional acute care facility with a licensed bed capacity of 137 beds, currently staffing 107 beds. In January, 2000, the Hospital added the trade name LRGHealthcare to describe their growing continuum of services - no longer just a hospital, this organization had grown into a full healthcare system for Lakes Region residents. They offer a wide range of medical, surgical, psychiatric, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, wellness education, support groups, and other community outreach services. The Hospital has 98 active staff physicians, 90 percent of whom are Board-certified and serves as a Level III Trauma Center.
