The Manor on Golden Pond is situated on a 14 acre estate, including 3 acres of beachfront on Squam Lake. There are 21 rooms in the Manor and its annex, 4 in a carriage house, plus two cottages; all are luxuriously appointed, and individual in pers onality with names that evoke the English countryside: Buckingham, Cornwall, Essex, Norfolk. Most rooms have wood-burning fireplaces. In the evenings, guests may take advantage of the Manor's elegant prix-fixe dining (reservations required), or sip and chat in the dark-oak paneled piano bar called The Three Cocks Pub.
