The NHIS, New England's largest sports facility, is located 10 miles from Concord. It has room for 91,000 fans in the grandstand, surrounding a 1 mile oval track, on a 1,000 acre lot. NASCAR Winston Cup, NASCAR Busch Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck and AMA Superbike races are among the events that are scheduled each year.
