The Rare Bear Bistro, located in Glen's Bernerhof Inn, has provided a dining room and pub for over fifty years. The dining room offers contemporary regional cuisine made with locally grown or foraged ingredients. Its signature meal is a five-course tasting menu that is offered nightly. The Bistro also has an extensive wine list. The pub offers a warm and casual atmosphere with a fireplace, brick archways and a bear skin rug. Menu includes not only traditional pub food of burgers, sandwiches, salads and other items but it also offers two traditional German dishes -- Wiener Schnitzel and Bratwurst, served with spaetzle and braised red cabbage. The pub has an extensive beer list and three beers on tap. Wines are served by the glass.
