Inn at Smith Cove

The Inn at Smith Cove, an ivory colored Victorian home trimmed in green, presides over an acre of beautifully landscaped shrubs and flowering patios. Built in 1894, the Inn at Smith Cove on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee has been restored with its spacious piazzas front and sides.

On the first floor is an 18' x 26' living room with natural wood walls set off by wall coverings and draperies of the period. The second and third floors house the guest rooms; all decorated in their individual Victorian settings with private baths. The Tower Room on the third floor is a suite with a jacuzzi, sitting room, and bedroom. Nearly every room in the main house offers a waterview.

Facility for dining is provided in an area restaurant. In winter, enjoy ice fishing on the lake, snowmobiling from the Inn, cross country skiing and downhill skiing at nearby Gunstock Ski Mountain. in summer and fall, enjoy their private beach and boat slips with free boat launching, or hiking, and fishing.
