Campton Public Library, located in Grafton County and serving an area of 2,700 residents, has a collection of 12,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 96 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 105 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $4,800. Patrons make 1,760 visits annually, and check out materials 3,100 times. Sixty-six percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
