Search Andover New Hampshire

Located in Merrimack County County, Proctor Academy is at the center of the quiet town of Andover and houses 330 students and 75 teachers who have come together with one goal -- personal success. There are 20 small dormitories clustered around a school center in a valley between two mountains and across a 2,300 acre campus. The grounds include thousands of wooded acres with ponds and hiking trails, along with their own private ski area near Blackwater Creek.

Proctor's emphasis on the creative arts is illustrated by facilities sprinkled throughout the campus that house the visual arts department, ceramics, boat building, metal working, a jazz band, Proctor Chorus, and a new dance studio with a sprung floor.

Proctor offers a wide range of traditional sports: field hockey, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and others along with some alternatives to competitive sports such as rock climbing, kayaking, freestyle snow boarding, horseback, and others for students who put their academics first.
