Highland Lake Inn, built in 1767 and located in East Andover, offers ten guest rooms with private baths and some with fireplaces. The Highland room features a queen bed, a working fireplace, and a large window seat overlooking the Channel to Highland Lake. The James room has views of the garden,a king bed with head canopy, a writing desk and comfortable rocker. All other rooms have queen beds or twin beds.

The inn serves breakfast with hot entree, fruit and home-baked breads and muffins. Area attractions include Canterbury Shaker Village, The Musterfield Farm Museum, Enfield Shaker Museum and the John Hay Estate.
