Cheshire County 3 miles from the Massachusetts state line in south central New Hampshire along Highway 119. Overlooking the rolling Monadnock Region from its hilltop location, the village of Rindge is the site of 1,000 acre Franklin Pierce College. Recreational activities are available year round. Many nearby ponds and lakes offer boating and bass fishing.
