Located on Route 26, just eight miles west of Errol, is the Umbagog Lake State Park Campground with 69 campsites: The lakeside base area campground has 35 sites and three cabins that are available for weekly and nightly rentals. There are also 34 remote sites generally isolated in wooded areas and only accessable by boat. Each remote site has a fireplace, picnic table, and a primitive pit toilet. These sites are carry in/carry out, which means there are no trash cans or trash pick-up. The park offers transportation to the remote sites for a fee. There are hook-ups for water and electricity for RVs, as well as a dump station.

The campground has a camp store, flush and pit toilets and coin-operated showers. Canoe, kayak, and rowboat rentals are also available. Campers will enjoy boating, fishing, swimming at one of New Hampshire's largest lakes, Lake Umbagog. Visitors will see an abundance of wildlife, including moose and eagles.
