Hearthside Village is a small cottage motel with sixteen unique cottages. All have air-conditioning, cable color television, individual heat and hot water, bathrooms with showers, fireplace, and fully equipped kitchen. Other facilities include swimming pool, hospitality room with phone, game room with ping-pong, arcade games and soda machine; playground, and basketball hoop. There is a picnic table beside each cottage and outdoor barbecuing is allowed. Area activities include hiking, tennis, and golfing. The Franconia Notch State Park with Cannon Mountain, Echo Lake, and The Cog Railway at the base of Mount Washington are nearby.
