The White Mountain Cooking School, located in
Snowville, offers small classes limited to eight participants, for plenty of hands-on experience and individual attention in fine dining from the acclaimed Chef Laurel Tessier. Chef Laurel has been the Executive Chef at the
Snowvillage Inn since 1998.
Weekend overnight packages, combined with the cooking school with a beautiful inn getaway, offer an "edutainment" weekend. The Inn schedules one weekend per month for the Cooking School, but will customize additional programs and times for groups. The programs they offer are "Cook and Ski Weekends" that will combine students' creation of appetizers, salads, entrees or desserts and then cross country skiing on one of the local roads and trails. In the summer, after a great hike through blueberry fields on Foss Mountain, students will enjoy a gourmet picnic and champagne cocktails while overlooking Mount Washington and the entire Presidential Range.
