A bed and breakfast located in a classic Greek revival home. Built in 1853 and surrounded by a century-old 500-Acre working dairy farm.
The original Prescott family came to this country in the 1600's. Decendants Col. Benjamin Prescott and his brother, Oliver, were among the earliest settlers in Jaffrey. Benjamin's accomplishments were many. He was a soldier in the Revolution, a militia colonel, selectman, constable, deacon and tavern owner in his time. The building which is now the Inn was constructed in 1853 by Benjamin and Oliver, and each guest room or suite in the Inn is named for a member of their family and furnished to provide a taste of life as it was in times past.
