Randolph Mountain Club |
Randolph Mountain Club, located in Gorham, is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote enjoyment through hiking, trail development, upkeep of camps and shelter, and sharing the collective knowledge of its members. The club maintains a network of nearly 100 miles of hiking trails, principally on the northern slopes of Mount Madison, Mount Adams, and Mount Jefferson in the Presidential range of the White Mountains National Forest, and on the Crescent Range in the town of Randolph. The club also has four shelters in the Northern Presidentials, called: Gray Knob, Crag Camp, The Log Cabin and The Perch.
Members receive a newsletter twice a year listing their seasonal events and activities and 95 percent of their dues is spent on trail upkeep and maintaining staffed camping facilities.
