Named for a Dutch commune, Brielle is in
Monmouth County, in the
Shore Region. Brielle is a residential community on the north bank of the Manasquan River, close to its mouth at the
Atlantic Ocean. On its western side is the Manasquan River Golf Club. Within a two-mile radius of Brielle are Pt. Pleasant Beach,
Manasquan, Clarks Landing, Manasquan Park, Sterling Woods, Debbie's Creek and Stockton Lake.
