Buckshutem New Jersey

Buckshutem is in Cumberland County, in Southern Shore Region. Except for its sister village, Laurel Lake, one mile north, the two villages are fairly isolated on an undeveloped road, about six miles from the next nearest habitation. The twisty Maurice River flows one-half mile east of Buckshutem on its way to its mouth at Delaware Bay ten miles further south.
