The J.D. Thompson Inn, built in 1823, combines Victorian splendor with modern luxuries to create a tradition of graciousness and hospitality. The inn features heating and air conditioning, an outdoor spa, gazebo, and sound absorption insulation between all inside partitions. The inn offers six large rooms, each with a queen size bed, private bath and air conditioning. A separate two-room suite with living room, bedroom and bath is also available. All rooms are equipped with TV, telephones and hair dryers. A continental breakfast is served during the week, with a full gourmet breakfast on weekends. Guests can visit Tuckerton Seaport, Baymen's Museum, Lake Pohatcong, Tip Seaman Park and Long Beach Island.
