Crosswicks Creek runs through many counties such as
Burlington County,
Mercer County,
Monmouth County, and
Ocean County. The 25 mile creek starts from the Fort Dix and McGuire Air Force Military Reserves flowing northwest until it turns south at the Delaware River.
This short but significant creek covers a watershed area of 146 square miles and has many significant tributaries. Some of those tributaries include Buck Brook, Buckhole Creek, Culvert Pond Run, Doctors Creek, Edges Brook, Ivanhoe Brook, Jumping Brook, Lahaway Creek, Negro Run, North and South Run, and Thornton Creek.
Not only does this creek support tributaries but it also has several impoundments. Some of which are Allentown Lake, Brindle Lake, Conines Millpond, Cookstown Pond, Hamilton Marsh, Imlaystown Lake, Oakford Lake, and Red Valley Lake.
