The River Adventures conducts float fishing trips on the Upper Delaware River. Drift boats provide comfortable seating and a dry ride as you float into deeper and less accessible stretches of water. Fishing is done between the towns of Port Jervis and Hancock. They also specialize in American shads. American shad is a species that spends most of its adult life at sea. After 3-4 years, feeding primarily on plankton, it returns in the spring to spawn in fresh water.
