Farmstead, which celebrated its 35th Anniversary in 1998, has always been dedicated to the public golfer. Built and still owned by the Phoebus family, Farmstead is converted from 275 acres of farmland and a 20-acre pond. Its 27 holes offer the scenic beauty of northwestern New Jersey, plus the challenge of exciting golf. The Phoebuses purchased the property in 1961, designed the course, and roughed it in the still existing farmhouse on weekends until play commenced.
