This site is comprised of 200 acres of farmland believed to have been occupied by General Henry Knox during the War for Independence. Visitors will enjoy a Guided Tour of this beautiful mansion overlooking the farm. The Willows today is much as it was more than one hundred years ago. Period furnishings and household items tell a tale of life in those historic times. The farm is operated using the equipment and techniques of the turn of the century.
Families can partake of educational programs and activities that give the feel of life on the farm in the old days. Special Events throughout the season include demonstrations of farm chores, such as butter churning, cider pressing, and other tasks. Historic Cooking Demonstrations, Sheep Shearing, Grain Harvests, and many other varied and wonderful adventures await people of all ages.
