Garden State Aikikai is affiliated with United States Aikido Federation and Aikikai World Headquarters, Japan. Its primary purpose is to provide instruction in the martial art of Aikido according to the principles of Aikido's founder Morihei Ueshiba. Classes are taught 7 days a week. In addition to Aikido, classes are provided in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido, the art of Japanese swordsmanship and judo.
