Located in Clinton, this museum's 10-acre site is highlighted by the Old Red Mill, built around 1810. Its four floors of displays depict early regional life, agriculture and industries. Other buildings include a blacksmith shop, a quarry office, a general store, a log cabin and a one-room schoolhouse. Recalling the area's former limestone quarrying industry that converted limestone from the surrounding cliffs into fertilizer are a stone crusher/sorter, old lime kilns and machinery sheds.
