Chilton Memorial Hospital

Chilton Memorial has remained a voluntary, non-profit, non-sectarian, community hospital offering short-term acute care and serving as a center for the promotion of community health. The hospital - with 256 beds, 500 physicians, and 1,000 allied-health professionals - serves an 11-town primary service area whose combined population exceeds 150,000. Chilton Memorial made history in 1996 by becoming the first New Jersey hospital to receive a perfect score - 100 - and Accreditation with Commendation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest accrediting body. The hospital is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and is a member of the Voluntary Hospital Association of America, American Hospital Association, and New Jersey Hospital Association.
