St Francis Medical Center School of Nursing |
The reputation of the faculty, staff, and graduates of St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing has always been one of excellence and caring. Since 1905, when the school was founded by the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis in Aston, PA, more than 3,200 graduates have contributed to various aspects of nursing and healthcare throughout the U.S. and other countries.
The School of Nursing is a two-year program, affiliated with Mercer County Community College, which culminates in a Diploma in nursing from St. Francis and an Associate in Science degree from Mercer County Community College. It is a progressive, fast-paced curriculum composed of 35 credits in professional nursing courses taught at St. Francis and 35 general education credits taught at Mercer County Community College.
