Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC) is the major medical facility in Hudson County. As the only designated Level II Trauma Center in the county, it should have the means to provide the highest levels of emergency medical treatment to trauma victims. JCMC is the major teaching hospital in Hudson County, with a full time staff of over 100 physicians in virtually every specialty. JCMC belongs to the Liberty Health Care System.
