In 1971 the Morris Hall Health and Rehabilitation Center received its first patient. Thirty years later, as the St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center, a 116-bed physical rehabilitation hospital, it had treated about 50,000 in-and-out patients. St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center now employs 400 staff members and provides a wide range of therapies and rehabilitation services to approximately 2100 inpatients and 2000 outpatients per year.
