Established in 1908, this is a public institution offering programs in liberal arts and sciences, business administration, fine and performing arts and professional studies. With a 14000 enrollment, there are five undergraduate schools and one graduate school, offering 77 programs leading to bachelors degrees, post bachelor certificates, masters degrees and post-masters certificates. The 200-acre campus is in a suburban area 15 miles west of New York City. Including residence halls, there are 39 buildings.
Fraternities and sororities, as well as over 120 clubs and organizations, are on campus. Tours of the campus can be arranged through the admissions office.
