The zoo provides a haven for more than 200 wild, domestic and exotic animals no longer able to exist in their natural habitats. Visitors are greeted by geese which escort them through the zoo. A Bengal tiger, bull elephant, lions, black bears, foxes, bulls and a macaw live in comfortable compounds. Many animals roam freely. Picnicking is permitted. Located 7 miles west of Garden State Parkway.
