Established in 1969 as a state-supported, co-educational, four-year College of liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies, Ramapo College is located on a 300-acre campus in Bergen County, one mile from the intersection of Routes 17, 202 and 287. About 5,500 students attend Ramapo College; less than 10% are graduate students. Over half the full-time undergraduate students live on campus.
