Built in 1713, the house was General George Washington's headquarters in 1780. Presented to Major General Friedrich von Steuben by the state in gratitude for his services to the Continental Army, the house now displays the collection of the Bergen County Historical Society and 1650-1850 Jersey-Dutch furnishings. Call for hours. Admission is free.
