Alpine is home the the State Line Lookout and Lookout Inn. The highest point of the Palisades Cliffs, at about the height of 532 feet, State Line Lookout shows gorgeous views of Hudson and Westchester counties in New York. It also has access to some of the best hiking areas in New Jersey and over five miles of cross-country skiing trails. The Lookout Inn, in Bergen County is a refreshment stand and gift shop. They cater a lunch and snack menu and offer a huge variety of books, gifts, and other interesting items. It is wheelchair accessible.
