SSP's primary focus is the production of challenging, entertaining and quality theater. Beyond the regular schedule of three to four plays per year, the company has recently added one play for children. In addition to well-known playwrights, SSP provides a forum for new and lesser-known writers to have their plays read, reviewed and produced. The company is also planning acting workshops for adults and children. It actively recruits and works with members of the community interested in learning and assisting in all phases of the theater.
