The Town of Westfield is in
Union County west of
Elizabeth along State Highway 28 near US 22. It is one of many similar communities in the densely populated eastern New Jersey and is close to the
Jersey City peninsula between Newark Bay and Upper New York Bay, at the state border opposite
New York City. Westfield is part of the
Newark, New Jersey metro area.
