The Institute is dedicated to providing education and research on coastal ecosystems. The education center houses saltwater aquariums, exhibits depicting life in the local saltwater marshes, a touch tank, a children's discovery room and an observation deck. A self-guiding marsh trail, observation tower and marsh boardwalk are also featured. Hours vary seasonally, call for times.
