At the outskirts of Camden, Williamstown is in Gloucester County. It is located along US 322 off State Highway 42 and near the Atlantic City Expressway. Nearby are Cross Keys, Glassboro Wildlife Management Area, Winslow Wildlife Management Area, and Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. Williamstown is part of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-New Jersey metro area.
