The Hospice program at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center Hospice is designed to provide sensitivity and support for people in their final phase of life. The goal of Hospice is to maintain people in their home and provide pain and symptom management support The Hospice team consists of nurses, social workers, home health aides, volunteers, and pastoral counseling. Bereavement counseling is also provided to the family or significant other after the patient expires.
