River Winds Golf Club opened for play in West Deptford Township with nine holes in June 2002and with all eighteen holes in September 2002. The links-style design measures nearly 7,100 yards from the tournament tees with a par of 72. The course was expertly shaped by Pete Fazio, a member of the world famous golf family. There are five holes that play along the Delaware River with the signature hole #17 playing 156 yards to an island green situated in the river.
