The Taos Country Inn, parts of which date back to the early 19th century, is situated on 22 acres of pasture land, surrounded by cultivated gardens and towering 200-year-old willows and cottonwoods. The inn offers eight suites, each with king or queen beds, sitting area, leather sofas, kiva fireplaces, down comforters, televisions, telephones and private baths. A breakfast buffet with an assortment of fruit, yogurt and granola, followed by a delicious hot entree that varies from waffles to huevos rancheros is served. Outdoor adventures include world-class skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, hiking, and fishing.
