Faywood is in Grant County, and in the Northwest New Mexico region. Faywood is located on State hwy 61, just northwest of Las Cruces between Deming and Silver City along Highway 180 on the banks of the Mimbres River near the Gila National Forest. Situated just north of the United States/Mexico border. Faywood is known for its relaxing and body soothing hot springs. There are many outdoor public and private soaking pools for those who wish to utilize these mineral water baths.
