Glenwood is in Catron County, and in the Southwest New Mexico. You can find Glenwood located in Catron County northwest of Silver City along Highway 180 on the banks of the San Francisco River near the Arizona state line.

Glenwood has a very active social calendar for a small town of approximately 350 people! Glenwood is equipt with Fire & Rescue, Community Center Board and Park Board, the different organizations include the Woman's Club, Frisco Cowbelles, Community Library, Glenwood Chorus, Craft Club, San Francisco Valley 4-H Club, the Parent-Teacher Organization.
