It is surrounded by beautiful red sandstone mesas and provides a gateway to the Caon de San Diego and the Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway. Holy Ghost & Dragonfly Fishing Lakes are located on the Jemez Pueblo, and is another popular water recreation area. Picnic areas are available, and visitors can obtain day permits with 8-fish limits.
