Jemez Pueblo

Jemez Pueblo is in Sandoval County, and in the Central New Mexico region. You'll find Jemez Pueblo just west of Santa Fe between Albuquerque and Los Alamos along Highway 44 near Cochiti Lake.

The Pueblo of Jemez is the only remaining village of the Towa speaking pueblos in New Mexico. It is surrounded by beautiful red sandstone mesas and provides a gateway to the Caon de San Diego and the Jemez Mountain Trail National Scenic Byway.

Holy Ghost & Dragonfly Fishing Lakes are located on the Jemez Pueblo, and is another popular water recreation area. Picnic areas are available, and visitors can obtain day permits with 8-fish limits. Rainbow trout, channel catfish and largemouth bass. Located off NM44, 23 miles northwest of San Ysidro.
